Today after extensive testing we launched an update to our player, this version replaces version 2.3.1. Version 2.4.0 includes numerous feature enhancements, some of which are hidden. The most obvious is the wider control bar, with the quality settings available on the right side. Some features, like moving your cursor across the bar to see the screens will be added back to this version. But we did not want to wait any longer.
This new player is linked to a major upgrade to our broadcast platform. And it allows us to broadcast to even larger audiences. We are excited about the changes. Know Issues:
- Advertising with multiple pre-rolls or pos-rolls not working. Only 1 post or pre-roll will play.
- Some 4:3 sized screens will be presented as 16:9. Video will not be squeezed, but there will be extra space on the bottom or sides.
- Some older Android devices my have problems connecting. (pre Android 4.0)
- Some closed captions will not appear.
- Fit of player on some sites (partial hiding of controlbar).
