Our Annual report of the last year and what God has done with trueGOD Television Networks as of February 1, 2015.
We are thankful for the growth of the ministry and technology over the last year. God continues to strengthen our platform and provide key direction in new technology for us to add. Our report will bring both our ministry friends, partners and supporters up to date about what God is doing with trueGOD Television Networks.
We made key changes to our platform this year to reduce cost while increasing our ability to grow. We tested a few cloud providers to get the best price/performance we could for parts of our infrastructure. We also consolidated some of our infrastructure as well. We are very comfortable with our infrastructure and look forward to more growth. Here is what God has done in the last year.

Accomplishments
There are currently about 120 channels on trueGOD.tv.
1,547,373 videos were viewed in 2014.
Upgrades to our Closed Caption System
We met four United States FCC deadlines over the last three years including compliance with the Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act of 2010 (CVAA). See last years report for details.
This year we added more languages to our Crowd Source Closed Caption system. Currently, we broadcast closed captions in 80 languages. More languages will be added this year.
Internet Radio out of Beta
We have launched thirteen Internet radio stations with a wide range of genres and teachers from around the world. We have added the ability to simply upload MP3 to our platform for Radio station owners to manage their content. Currently, only Radio station owners can upload MP3s.
ASCAP Licensed
trueGOD.tv is now ASCAP Licensed, which enables us to broadcast music radio stations from ASCAP inventory of music. ASCAP will handle the royalties to the artists, producers and labels from the fees we pay to them. This opens the door to a lot more music on our platform than in the past. We previously restricted music to video only, then only specific labels or independent artists. We can now broadcast a much larger selection of content.
Upgrades to our Technology.
We have made improvement in a number of areas. The biggest is a completely new scheduling system for TV and Radio Channels. Our channel owners can schedule their shows with a simple drag and drop system. It uses AJAX for fast updates. It auto saves changes, allows channel owners to specify repeat events, and includes a number of other features. We will add more about this in other posts in the future.
We added ChromeCasting this year to our players. Now if you have a ChromeCast device, our player will automatically detect it and enable it to “cast” the video to your smartTV. ChromeCasting works with iOS, Android and desktop players.
Our advertising system now uses Ad Pods, these are like traditional TV ads in which you have a group of ads in the beginning, middle or end of a broadcast. It still uses our ad server which is available to all Channel owners on our platform for both TV and Radio. We provide free training for all of our technology and extensive support.
Channels, Sub-channels have been updated for both TV and Radio. We are adding more features to enable the same channel for the Web to allow you to manage your Channel for Mobile, Apps, or SmartTV platforms. One system, multiple presentations.
We have enhanced our encoding platform for faster encodes and better HD support. These changes have improved the quality and speed of encodes. We will be working on speeding up the process more during 2015.
We will be adding auto MP3 creation for ministries to create MP3 version of their content. This will help to empower Internet Radio by using the video content that you already have. More to come on this as well.
Shared content is now available to TV and Radio owners on trueGOD. We are making select content available to use as additional content of fillers for channel owners. This shared content is either licensed or is allowed for promotional or public broadcasting by the copyright owners. Unlicensed, or copyright restricted content is not shared among broadcasters or channels.
SSL Encrypted Streaming
We added this functionality specifically for those in persecuted areas of the world where watching Christian content on the Internet may be monitored, filtered, and could get you jail time, tortured or death. This is a very serious matter. We were told about underground churches watching our content in a middle eastern country where you could not openly preach the gospel. Therefore, we decided that this is the time to complete this important feature.
2105 Interface & Roku
We are working hard on our 2015 interface. It has an exciting new look, and like Netflix we will be using this new interface across all of the platforms that we broadcast on. We cannot announce a date yet, but we hope soon. We are also working on our fifth Roku App to be release soon as well. Ministries can have their own Roku TV app developed, for a fee. We can produce live or video-on-demand TV apps for Roku.
Prayer support for trueGOD.tv
We are thankful to our intercession team for the prayer support this year. We see a big difference between this year and years before. As my former pastor once said, “Nothing comes to earth, except through the conduit of Prayer.” It is prayer that has brought us thus far.
Live Streaming
This is one of the most important features of trueGOD Television. We broadcast live for churches, ministries and TV stations across America, from coast to coast. We have one of the most feature packed set of services for Live Broadcasting, but most ministries have not heard about trueGOD.tv. This year we are working on changing that with better marketing and advertising of the live streaming services that we provide for ministries around the world.
The Future
We are moving forward in the direction that God is guiding us towards. More languages, strengthening missionaries, ministries and broadcasting more, in more ways. We are praying for careful direction and provision, content, and devices to broadcast on; broadcasting to every Internet connected video and audio device with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God continues to do “exceedingly, abundantly, above anything we can ask or think…” We are thankful, humbled, and excited about what God has planned for our future. Pray with us, for us and ahead of us as we spread the good news of Jesus Christ together.
