Those who know me, have heard me say “I do not fall down, but I fall up.”
That means, when something bad happens, I look for God’s promise, that “all things work together for good, to them that love God, who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
So when our Upload system went down a few days ago. During the 2 days of fixing, we fell UP. I used the opportunity to revamp the conversion system, servers, and added the new formats that cover every major device connected to the internet. We have been converting our archives for this, but now also every video uploaded will be converted to optimized FLV, MP4, OGV, WebM for broadcasting. We will be upgrading the players to dynamically look for these new files, and supply HTML5 for devices that support only these formats, or do not support FLV (flash video). Our new system also makes is easy to add new formats to be encoded as they come along.
Next step is to dynamically create all of the smaller sizes for MP4, for dynamic bandwidth, and optimized mobile broadcasting.
Pray for us, we are behind schedule on these items, but ahead of most ministry sites like ourselves. But our race is not with each other, but for “…the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus”. Phil 3:14.
