We have added the ability for members to have Donation Links for their entire channel on individual videos. Donation links do have some restrictions. We hope that this update will encourage many to donate and support ministries around the world. The donation links point to your donation web pages only. They do not process donations for you. Here are the details:
Channels
- Those channels that are “Owned” by specific ministries will see both a “Ministry Donate”
link on the Channel page and also on every video under that channel that the ministry uploaded directly. - Specific videos under the channel will have the main “Ministry Donate” link, but can have a specific donation link tied to that video exclusively.
- Videos not uploaded by the ministry will not have the ability to add donation links or change donation links for that channel ministry.
Ministries
- Ministries that have contributed a significate amount of content will have the ability to add donation links to any of their videos specifically.
- No one uploading videos that are not authorized will have the ability to add donation links to your videos.
- Ministries that have financially donated to trueGOD.tv will also have the ability to add donation links to their videos.
- A default donation can be added to any video you upload if you do not have a channel. They can be overridden with a specific donation link.
Individual Videos
- Specific videos may administratively have “Please Donate”
links added to the videos by trueGOD.tv staff. - Specific videos can have “Please Donate” links added by Members that occasionally or consistently donate financially to trueGOD.tv. We provide free video hosting, membership, and embedding of videos. The bible says to “not muzzle the ox that treads the corn”. We are asking for you to help those who help you.
- Ministries that stream live services will have the ability to add “Please Donate” links to the videos they upload.
- Ministries that stream live services will have the ability to add a “Ministry Donate” link on your Live streaming page under the Global TV area of trueGOD.tv.
Well that’s it, we are completing the implementation of this system, but a lot of these features are working right now. Access to these features will be available to our members very soon.
