Franklin Mayfield, III has been described in many ways over his 30 year career. Illustrator, Designer, Creative Director, Entrepreneur, Web Master and Visionary.
As a man of vision, Mr. Mayfield, one of the founding partners of Print Plus Design, Inc. (formed in 1991) lead the company through unprecedented growth, 35% and 52% in its fourth year. Producing work for clients like; Hewlett Packard, Cincinnati Bell, P&G, Chiquita, Hanna Barbera, Hasbro, Provident and Star Banks, and numerous printers, and agencies nationally.
After creating web sites for 2 years inside of Print Plus Design, in 1997, Mr. Mayfield felt that effective web development and marketing required a focused team. And EZ was born. EZ was internationally recognized by Inc. Magazine, won design awards, and has produced sites receiving hits in the millions.
His team comprises Programmers, Designers, Writers, and Data Entry Staff for the production of performance driven web sites.
Mr. Mayfield has taught computer graphics, web development and digital pre-press for 21 years, systems manager for 22, programming for 32, creative director for 6, entrepreneur for 25, webmaster for 14.
Presently or formally a Board member of the Cincinnati Art Directors Club, Digital Artist Working Group, Advisory board for Akien High School Career Paths, Advisory Board for Commercial Art for Scarlet Oaks, Antonelli College BOT Advisory Committee, Board of Directors for Cincinnati College Preparatory Academy (CCPA).
Retains a Teaching certificate for Ohio in Computer Graphics and Commercial Art. Appointed as one of the Congressional Businessmen of the Year in 1998. Interviewed on Cincinnati`s ABC-TV Channel 9`s Black Memo on the Internet and the current changes, held a seminar at an international convention on Internet and Business, in which 3 Ambassadors sat in attendance. Is a member of numerous business, technology and black organizations.
