Count It All Joy tells the story of Anya Mitchell, a Christian woman and owner of a successful financial planning firm. She is engaged to a prosperous author who also professes to be a Christian. It is during premarital counseling that her fiance’s expectations are revealed. After Anya is brutally attacked, his true heart is exposed and Anya is challenged with maintaining her faith at the risk of their relationship and making a choice that will change both their lives forever. With the support of family, Anya must forgive the unforgivable, protect the innocent and choose to live by the word of God. The film surprises with unexpected twists and turns and offers quality entertainment. I, personally, loved the ending.
Franklin and I enjoyed Count It All Joy from beginning to end. It is clear to see why Count It All Joy won Best Narrative Film in the 2011 HolyWood Christian Film Festival of New York and is the Official Selection of the 2011 Southern Black Writers and Artists Film Festival. This film is an outstanding addition to our Christian movie library.
