This example displays video with chapter markers. Once you start the video, notice the breaks in the scrub bar. Move your mouse over them, or click them to see and navigate to that part of the video.
This approach can be used on digital versions of DVDs, messages with distinct breaks, teaching videos. It can also be used to identify commercial breaks, or other items of interest.
